That’s how many people sound when talking about AI.

To some, it’s Chicken Little all over again—doom and hype in every headline. Predictions of world-changing disruption, job extinction, or AGI ascendancy are easy to dismiss when they feel exaggerated or distant.

And yet… they’re not wrong.

Not completely.

Because here’s the uncomfortable truth:

The future isn’t being predicted.

It’s already being built.

Inside the labs at OpenAI, Google DeepMind, Anthropic, and Mistral, the next generation of tools already exists. They’re just not ready for mass deployment yet.

So while most of the world is debating what’s coming, those closest to the edge are refining it.

And by the time the average executive or boardroom fully believes it, they’ll be behind.
